I thought it best to take this mundane conversation off of the deviation.
I'm sure they will in some places. The best thing to do is write to the big gas companies. Fortunately for me I live in the South so its easier to address the source of the problem. At the same time I will say that the oil field employs a huge chunk of the working US and so in a lot of ways the prices are stimulating the economy but it doesn't do much good if everyone is paying those prices. I have to admit I will be very excited when I get a new job.
The best advice I can give is to write to the companies and to either start taking the bus or get a vehicle that runs on alternative fuel.
